Fazaia Intermediate College E-9 Islamabad was formally known as PAF Inter College E-9 Islamabad. It is directly under the education branch of the Pakistan Air Force. The new building in the PAF Complex Islamabad was built in 2004. Previously the classes from Prep to 8th used to be in the school section building and the matric and F.Sc. classes were held in the college section building which later transformed into Air University in 2000. The college is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) under which it conducts the Board Examination of Matriculation (SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC or FSC). The main branch of Fazia College is in Sector E-9, Pakistan Air Force Complex, Islamabad, Pakistan. The directorate of education Pakistan Air Force Air Headquarters controls the chain of Fazaia colleges. Fazaia colleges are spread all over Pakistan. Fazia has the most branches across the country, even in remote areas like Sakesar and Shorkot. ==Administration and staff== The principal of the college is Air Commodore (rtd) Mehdi Hassan and the headmistress of SSC section is Huma. There are male staff rooms and female staff rooms. The college has a staff of about fifty teachers.
